Our History
The Mozambican Community Association (MCA) traces its roots to a group of Mozambicans living in the U.S.A. who saw the need to create a Mozambican community to unite and assist fellow diaspora and become more involved in their home country's social and economic development.
We are a non-partisan and not-for-profit Mozambican Community Association (MCA) in the U.S.A founded in 2001 to promote unity among Mozambicans living in the Diaspora and create a gateway to Mozambique to empower our people, encourage philanthropy, lead impactful initiatives, and improve the welfare of all Mozambicans.
